John Vazey 

Managing Director

John is a highly skilled mechanical engineer with 18 years of experience consulting to a wide range of industries. He has completed numerous projects to assist and enable organisations to understand, avoid, or manage fatigue cracking in machines, vehicles and steel structures. Underpinning John’s broad skill base is a depth of knowledge and experience in physical testing, data analysis, vibration analysis, and computational mechanics. John holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a master of science in textile physics.

Mick O’Donnell


Mick is a very experienced and capable mechanical engineer and manager with significant global experience gained over 24 years in the aerospace and rail sectors. Mick has extensive experience and knowledge in structural analysis and design, including high end FEA packages, classical methods, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis, composite structures and adhesive bonded repairs. Additionally, Mick has experience as an engineering manager and as a company director, he holds a degree in mechanical engineering and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.


Simone Seeney

Office Manager

Central to the EngAnalysis Team is Simone who performs the roles of Office Manager and Bookkeeper. With experience in a variety of industries including Telecommunications, Recruitment and Labour Hire, Simone is responsible for the coordination and management of financial and administration functions. Simone ensures the EngAnalysis Team operate in a harmonious and engaging environment while maintaining office efficiency.


Hamish McFarlane

Principal Engineer, Sydney

Hamish is a mechanical engineer with extensive international experience in both consultancy and within OEMs across numerous industries. Hamish has a diverse range of experience from development of energy storage and renewable energy systems, automotive R&D, medical device development and has consulted to rail, heavy industry, mining and defence. In doing so he has worked on numerous projects utilising strain gauging, accelerometers, etc. to determine failure root-cause and structure loading, as well as being experienced in executing FE analysis and analytical assessments of structures.


Henry Griscti

Mechanical Engineer, Data Analyst

Henry is a project engineer, field engineer and analyst. He comes from a background in operation maintenance and research. Henry has installed strain gauges, accelerometers, displacement and tilt sensors, computers, GPS and inertial measurement systems on various machines and structures to investigate and understand the effect of the stresses, vibrations and other dynamic behavior. Henry holds a bachelor degree in mechanical and sustainable energy engineering.


Corey Pike

Electrician , IOT Technician

Corey is an electrical technician with experience in the naval, avionics and mining industries.  Corey has installed sensors and solar systems for data logging and monitoring equipment on mines and civil infrastructure. Installation and testing of hardware and cabling systems for defence based software development and crew training systems. This has provided him with exposure to a broad range of electrical and electronics systems. Corey holds a Diploma of Electrical Engineering, and is also a trade qualified electrician.


Carlos Gonzalez

Principal Analyst, Sydney

Carlos is a Mechanical Engineer, with a Phd in Thermo-Fluids. He has extensive experience in design of complex mechanical systems for sub-sea and offshore structures together with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) analysis and Reactive-Thermo-Fluid Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI). Carlos is also providing programming in Matlab and Python, including multi-dimensional probabilistic analysis.

Matthew Muller

Data Engineer, Sydney

Matthew is a data engineer with university and industrial experience in data processing, visualisation and analysis. Matthew has been the lead developer on several University-industrial joint research projects centred on machine learning tasks involving computer vision, generative models and statistical prediction for geological and mining sectors. Matthew holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science (Honours).

Ian Stevenson

Mechatronics Engineer

Ian has a wealth of experience in some of the most challenging mechanical and electrical engineering issues faced in heavy industry. Ian’s experience encompases mining, rail, ports and maritime industries both locally and internationally. Ian has also worked leading electrical engineering development of subsea data acquisition systems for Offshore Oil and Gas industry in Brazil.
