Our team has undertaken numerous projects for defence industries, providing 3rd party testing and qualification of loads and designs. This includes the use of a deployed strain gauge array to assist with the fatigue evaluation of a military landing craft. The work included strain gauging the vessel at sea in collaboration with the evaluation team, running all sea trials, developing both load cases, evaluating local fatigue survivability estimates and providing data for seakeeping, speed and performance under load.
